Bullfeathers is a family-owned and operated breeder of chukar partridges. We are dedicated soley to the production of chukar partridges, and are a year-round breeder with four laying flocks so we always have a breeding flock in lay.
Our name and logo was the creative work of our daughter when she was a teen. Later, after she had become a Legislative Assistant in the United States Congress, we learned that "Bullfeathers" was an expletive created by the staff of President Teddy Roosevelt to replace another "bull" term from his often socially unacceptable vocabulary.
